About The Team

The Centre for Academic & International Partnerships (CAIP) is responsible for the development and management of the University’s academic partnership arrangements with several institutions globally. Currently, there is approximately 16,600 students enrolled on a UoS programme delivered by an academic partner. The team act as a central link between partner institutions and the University’s academic schools and professional services departments and work actively to build the network of partners engaged with the University.

About The Role

Assistant Partnerships Managers work closely with a range of colleagues from across the University to develop and deliver academic partnerships, ensuring there is an excellent experience for students and that staff at partner organisations are supported in their work with the University. The post holder will develop experience of working with a range of University partners (both UK and international). There are 2 posts available:

  • Post reference 4646 (see job description) will be focused upon supporting a Partnerships Manager who are linked to an identified portfolio of partners, ensuring that the courses are delivered smoothly and the students are provided with an excellent experience.
  • Post reference number 4647 (see job description) will have a focus on regulatory compliance activities and will work closely with the Director & Head of CAIP.

Both posts will require you to work with other teams around the organisation to support the delivery of processes and policies when they relate to partnership students. These teams include Admissions, Student Records and the Office for Student Appeals, Complaints and Conduct (OSACC). They are expected to become a highly competent user of University systems and will ensure accuracy of the information and records held within these systems and online.
