Job summary

Five Guys is seeking an Assistant Manager in the United Kingdom to lead shifts, coach teams and support the General Manager in delivering top-quality burgers and excellent customer service. The role focuses on profitability, cost control and creating a positive, values-driven workplace.

You’ll manage people, drive sales, monitor quality and safety standards, and ensure guest satisfaction across busy shifts while upholding our brand standards and service culture.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years minimum management experience in high-volume hospitality or QSR.
• Proven ability to drive guest satisfaction and execute operational standards.
• Strong leadership, coaching and talent development skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift managers and crew, hands-on on the line and dining area.
• Support GM in delivering perfect burgers and fries and store results.
• Create an engaging, values-driven work environment and manage complaints effectively.
• Own the shift P&L, drive sales, and control costs.
