Five Guys in the United Kingdom is seeking a hands‑on Assistant Manager. You’ll lead Shift Managers and Crew, support the General Manager to deliver perfect burgers and an excellent customer experience, and foster a positive, values‑driven work environment.

You’ll manage shift operations, coach your team, handle complaints openly, and drive sales while controlling costs. This role offers career growth toward GM or regional roles within Five Guys.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of management experience in a high‑volume hospitality or QSR environment.
• Proven ability to drive customer satisfaction, mystery shopper scores and positive reviews.
• Experience assisting with P&L management, labour costs and inventory/waste control.
• Strong leadership, coaching and people development skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Shift Managers and Crew; hands‑on on line and dining area.
• Support the General Manager in delivering high‑quality burgers & fries and optimal store results.
• Create a positive working environment aligned with company values: Competitive, Enthusiastic, Family, Get It Done, Integrity.
• Resolve customer complaints promptly and honestly to ensure great Five Guys experiences.
• Ensure smooth shift operations and long‑term planning that supports cost control and sales growth.
• Own the P&L on shift and drive sales while managing costs.
