Job summary

Five Guys is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead shift teams and support the General Manager in delivering outstanding burgers and fries with consistency, speed and a welcoming guest experience.

You’ll coach crew, run smooth shifts, manage costs and sales, handle complaints openly, and own the shift P&L while living Five Guys values every day. This is a high-energy role in a busy, high-volume setting that rewards initiative and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of management experience in a high-volume hospitality environment.
• Focused on guest experience and satisfaction metrics.
• Experience with P&L, labor cost control and waste management.
• Knowledge of Food Safety and Health & Safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift managers and crew on the floor.
• Support the General Manager in delivering perfect burgers and fries and a great guest experience.
• Create an engaging working environment aligned with Five Guys values.
• Handle customer complaints promptly and openly.
• Own the shift P&L and drive sales while controlling costs.
• Develop your team to build a strong talent pipeline.
