A local government authority in Nottingham seeks an Assistant Manager for its Sport and Leisure Services. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sport, a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification, and experience in leisure facility management. Salary: Starting Salary £36,363 (Level one) rising to Level 4 £39,152 per annum (pro‑rata for part‑time)

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, experienced individual to join the team. Acting as an Assistant Manager within Sport and Leisure Service’s, you will improve the performance and delivery of leisure provision across the City. You will be responsible for the leadership and management of colleagues to drive the performance of the team and facilities, ensuring safe, efficient and effective delivery under your control.
The ideal candidate will have a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification, First Aid at Work, and ideally Pool Plant Operator skills (or be willing to obtain these within the first 12 weeks).
A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.
