Role Overview
The Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) team is seeking an Assistant Manager with strong SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) experience to expand our delivery capacity and serve a growing pipeline of opportunities. Our SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Practice is a strategic area for growth. We are looking for an experienced SAC professional to join our team to design and deliver solutions that help our clients achieve step changes in performance, productivity, and profitability.
Responsibilities
- Engagement Delivery
- Own deliverables and/or manage small workstreams in client engagements, business development, and practice development initiatives.
- Responsible for producing high-quality outputs, on time, to meet/exceed client expectations.
- People Development
- Monitor and support team members, accelerating their development with a particular emphasis on coaching and skills transfer.
- SAC Development Expertise
- Demonstrate application knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud technology and use of best practice principles when executing development tasks.
- Support SAC go-to-market propositions and asset development.
- Ideally demonstrate an understanding of how SAC can be used to support our typical EPM propositions and client problems around Target Operating Model design across:
- Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting
- Benefits/Value realisation and tracking
- Cost management (cost reduction, allocation & attribution)
- Investment/change portfolio management
- Business Development
- Contribute to the establishment and development of both internal and external relationships and support the business development activity of senior team members.
- Shape, develop, contribute to, and present proposals/bids for future work.
- Support Partners and Directors in driving business development and sales activities.
- Support responses to client requests for proposals (RFPs).
- Practice Development
- Support activities that contribute to the growth of our strategic alliance with SAP.
- Support management with internal operational responsibilities for the team.
- Participate in SAP upskill opportunities through virtual or classroom initiatives including certification programs.
- Support practice development initiatives (that grow and promote the EPM practice internally and externally) and provide guidance to junior members of the team on these initiatives.
- People Management & Culture
- Contribute to formal training, knowledge sharing, and networking activities for the team.
- Take part in internal initiatives that seek to strengthen culture, job satisfaction, and wellbeing within the team.
Qualifications
- Successful candidates should have EPM experience, and in particular knowledge/experience of consulting to design/deliver solutions which have assisted in driving the client's strategy.
- Experience of SAP Analytics Cloud development work in the context of major and complex transformation programmes/projects.
- Strong knowledge of SAC platform functionalities, including planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting.
- Experience of Finance use cases in SAC (e.g., income statement forecasting, cost allocations, workforce-cost planning) and the accompanying reporting packages.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and fixes for bugs identified across testing cycles/environments and Go-Live in an agile manner.
- Good knowledge of financial processes, including integrated business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting.
- Good understanding of issues and challenges facing Finance functions, Finance business partnering, and trends in Finance.
- Build positive and collaborative relationships with client stakeholders.
- Ability to organise and prioritise work to meet project requirements.
- Good communicator with the ability to build strong and lasting internal and client relationships.
- Evidence of being an active listener, strong team player, and willingness to develop new skills and capabilities.
