Assistant Headteacher (Pay Range L3 – 7)

We are delighted to offer a wonderful opportunity to join St Gregory’s Catholic Academy, part of St Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Multi- Academy Trust, as an Assistant Headteacher. A trust of 63 schools. We are seeking to appoint a committed leader to support the Headteacher and Leadership team of St Gregory’s Catholic Academy to strengthen the leadership of the school as it prepares for the next phase of its development. The successful candidate should be able to articulate a vision for Catholic education, provide a record of successful leadership impact over the multi academy, teaching experience and demonstrate a clear understanding of collaboration within a multi-academy company.

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate an awareness of Catholic education.
  • Be an excellent practitioner, leading by example, particularly in KS2.
  • Experience of developing the curriculum, monitoring and assessment.
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills: to work with parents and the wider community.
  • Present a vision for supporting and developing provision for disadvantaged pupils.
