A leading engineering consultancy in Birmingham seeks a Graduate Fire Engineer to support the fire engineering team in delivering high-quality fire strategies and technical advice. Responsibilities include developing fire safety strategies, conducting engineering calculations, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Fire Engineers play a pivotal role in keeping people safe. They use science and engineering to understand how a fire behaves and design buildings to protect lives in the event a fire breaks out. Every building is different and fire engineers are problem solvers who think creatively, especially on complex projects such as skyscrapers, hospitals or transport hubs. As a Graduate Fire Engineer, you will support our experienced fire engineering team in delivering high-quality fire strategies and technical advice. You will be involved in all stages of a project—from concept design to construction—ensuring that fire safety is integrated into the design and build process.
A degree (or pending) in Fire Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Building Services, or a related STEM discipline
