• Supporting the preparation of accurate, competitive tenders for groundworks and civils packages
• Carrying out take offs, measurement and pricing with guidance from senior members
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documents
• Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to gather and assess quotations
• Helping produce clear, well presented tender submissions
• Playing an active role in the bid process and wider pre construction team

Assistant Estimator Requirements:

• At least 2 years experience as an estimator or assistant estimator within groundworks
• Understanding of foundations, drainage, externals and general groundworks processes
• Confident interpreting drawings and technical documents
• Strong IT and numeracy skills
• Motivated, driven and keen to develop your estimating career
