Job description

Are you an Assistant Estimator with experience in Mechanical & Electrical/Fabric projects, looking to join a rapidly growing business aiming to double in size with the next year. Our client Places their employee's welfare at the forefront, encourage a culture of innovation, open dialogue and continuous personal and professional development.

Regional contractor that specialise in M&E, fit out, refurbishment, construction & maintenance. They work with several blue-chip clients and main/sub-contractors along with various government agencies, and housing associations nationally.

Responsibilities of an Estimator
  • Produce detailed quotations, raise purchase orders, manage project budgets and approve supplier invoices.
  • Learning from 1-on-1 from Senior members of the team
  • Develop cost estimates for M&E projects, covering labour, materials, plant, and subcontractor costs
  • Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for M&E/Fabric projects.
  • Develop comprehensive and accurate estimations & presentations.
  • Looking further training and development into senior positions
Requirements for an Estimator
  • Relevant construction related degree or qualification.
  • Experience on projects from £100K - £2.5m.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Experience with Mechanical and Electrical systems.
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry pricing, regulations, and best practices
