Assistant Editor

Responsibilities

• Support the editorial process for academic research journals in your domain of expertise
• Organize the peer review process for submitted manuscripts and coordinate editorial decisions
• Handle email communication between the parties involved in the publication process
• Collaborate with other members of the editorial team and production team
• Ensure that scholarly articles are accurately edited and published according to tight deadlines with a high degree of consistency

Qualifications

• A PhD (preferred) or Master’s degree in a field related to Engineering, including but not limited to:
  • Management Science (e.g., Systems thinking, Systems engineering, System dynamics and complex systems; Engineering management; management science and engineering; economics Management; Applied Mathematics; Operations Research; Decision Science and Technology; Engineering Cybernetics; Logistics and Supply Chain Management; control engineering; information engineering; mechanical engineering; business management; industrial engineering)
  • Engineering (e.g., Mechanical Engineering; Mechanical Electronics Engineering; Precision Instrument Science and Technology; Materials Science and Engineering; Electrical Engineering and Automation)
