A local city council seeks an Assistant Community Library Connector in Birmingham to empower residents through information and digital services. As a key point of contact, you will deliver high-quality library services, promote digital inclusion, and engage with local stakeholders to foster community-led initiatives. We are a Living Wage Employer, and all our roles will be paid as such where the pay scales are below the Living Wage rate.

Are you passionate about empowering communities through access to information, digital services and cultural activities. Join our team as a Assistant Community Library Connector and become the primary point of contact for residents in Birmingham, helping to deliver a comprehensive, welcoming and supportive library service. You will play a vital role in supporting local households by providing information, guidance, resources, and access to a wide range of services promoting well-being, independence, and digital inclusion across the community.
You will also work closely with local stakeholders to develop a strong network of support services and activities, translating the library’s vision into practical, community-led initiatives.
A requirement of the role is to work alternative Saturday’s, but we also have Saturday’s only roles available
