An environmental consultancy firm in the Thames Valley region is seeking an Assistant Arboricultural Consultant to conduct Tree Safety Inspections across Utility Company sites. The ideal candidate will have strong arboricultural knowledge, excellent communication skills, and at least three years of relevant experience. This is primarily a remote field-based role offering a salary between £26,000 and £31,000, alongside generous benefits and training opportunities.

We are seeking a diligent and skilled Assistant Arboricultural Consultant to undertake Tree Safety Inspections across a portfolio of Utility Company sites within the Thames Valley region. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing tree health, structural integrity, and potential risks, ensuring compliance with industry best practice, legal obligations, and client-specific requirements.
This is primarily a field-based role requiring strong technical knowledge, excellent judgement, and the ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of reporting and data accuracy. The role will require the candidate to either already hold the Lantra Professional Tree Inspection (PTI) qualification or be willing to complete the training and qualification within the first 6-months of working with us. We will offer guidance and support through this process, and will cover associated costs.

The position will largely be remote with occasional working from our offices at Pigeon House Farm (Dorney, Windsor, SL4 6QB) and One Garden City (Letchworth GC, Herts, SG6 3BF).
Starting salary of between £26,000- £31,000 per annum dependent upon candidate experience. 22 days annual leave (plus public holidays), with an annual increase of one day for every full year's service up to a maximum of 27 days;
