Armstrong Knight are proud to be working with a forward-thinking company of Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers who are now looking for a tech-savvy accountant to join their growing team. They are a single-location practice with an excellent reputation, providing a full range of accounting and business advisory services to corporates, owner-managed businesses and private clients across the South East of England.

What skills and experience would I need?
  • Experience of working within a practice
  • Advanced user of bookkeeping software (predominantly Xero and Receipt Bank)
  • Adept at third-party apps and software integration
  • Knowledge of Iris Accountancy software would be an advantage but not essential
What would my duties be?
  • Monitor client operations cloud software, predominantly Xero
  • Assist new clients with software migration
  • Support clients and the team with advanced automation and third-party app integration
  • Prepare management accounts and statutory accounts
  • Draft tax computations and liaise with HMRC as required
