A leading engineering staffing provider in the UK is seeking an experienced Assembly Operative for a 12-month rolling contract in Stonehouse. Role

Assembly Operative

Rate of pay

£13.95 p/h + holiday pay (rate equivalent to £27,200 +)

Site

Stonehouse, Gloucester, GL10

Hours

7am - 3pm (flexible) Monday to Friday (overtime paid at overtime rates)

Duration

12 month rolling contract

An additional quarterly bonus of £150 is paid for full attendance. (an extra £600 annually)

Due to an increase in workload our client is seeking 2 Assembler's to join the team at their site based in Stonehouse.

Assembly Operative

The work will typically be done manually or by using light hand tools.

Duties include
  • Correct use of machinery and equipment on the shop floor
  • Ability to read diagrams and instructions for assembly of products, systems, and panels.
  • Conduct all types of assembly work to produce a semi-finished or final product.
  • Soldering, wiring up and general bench assembly of small components.
