Learning Support Assistant - Godalming Area
£101.40 per day | Term Time Only | Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm

We're looking for a passionate Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist school setting in the Godalming area. You'll be supporting children and young people aged 4 to 19 with:

  • PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties)
  • SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties)
  • Physical disabilities
  • Verbal and non-verbal communication needs
  • Cognitive delays and developmental challenges
Responsibilities

You will support students with complex needs across the age range in a specialist school setting. This includes assisting with learning activities, supporting communication, and helping pupils access a safe and engaging environment. You don’t need school-based experience—backgrounds in care, support work, or personal care are highly relevant.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Backgrounds in care, support work, or personal care are considered highly relevant
  • Preferred but not required: willingness to pursue roles in related fields such as Speech and Language Therapy, Cognitive or Behavioural Therapy, Physiotherapy, or Play Therapy
  • Driving or access to a lift is strongly recommended due to the school’s location
