Due to recent expansion, this well‑established and successful asbestos consultancy is currently seeking a hard‑working and reliable Asbestos Surveyor based in or around the Lancaster area. The successful candidate will ideally come from an asbestos consultancy background and have extensive experience delivering technical, in‑depth surveys to high‑profile commercial and industrial contracts. Holding the CoCA or CCP qualification would be advantageous, although consideration will also be given to strong asbestos surveyors who are looking to progress in the industry. Applications from Morecambe, Cockerham, Claughton, Tarnbrook and surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience

• Must possess the P402 asbestos qualification or the equivalent RSPH certificate.
• Experience working in a surveyor role within the asbestos industry.
• Holding the CoCA or CCP certificate will be advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Competent in using the Microsoft Office Package.
• A good working knowledge of asbestos Health & Safety legislation.

Key Role

• Undertake asbestos management, demolition/refurbishment surveys on a variety of properties including commercial and industrial.
• Collate and produce comprehensive asbestos reports.
• Supervise contractors on site, ensuring compliance with asbestos Health & Safety procedures.
• Build and maintain a strong working relationship with the company’s mixed portfolio of clients.
