Our client specialises in the field of asbestos, environmental and other services providing services nationwide and are currently seeing an ambitious and self‑motivated Asbestos Commercial Manager to work for them in and around the Essex area.

The successful candidate must have experience of working within this role and within the asbestos field and have a strong commercial & operational background, also a thorough knowledge of the local asbestos market.

Key Responsibilities:

• To manage the company’s portfolio of clients, both new and existing.
• Ensure contract operations are coordinated with clients and are efficiently carried out in accordance with site operations and company procedures.
• Ensure all staff on site adhere to rules with regards to Health and Safety regulations.
• To mentor and train asbestos surveyors and analysts.
• Manage and control various projects, contracts and portfolios.
• Assist with tenders and quotations.
• Problem solving and dealing with various issues that may arise.

Requirements:

• Must be commercially focused, confident, versatile and have the ability and acumen to take the business to the next level.
• Will have good communication, organisational, people management and computer skills.
