Area Sales Manager – North West England - Competitive Salary + Bonus + Car Allowance

The Job: A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a motivated and commercially focused Area Sales Manager to join a forward thinking and innovative packaging solutions provider. This is a hands-on, field-based role where you’ll be responsible for managing existing customer relationships, identifying and securing new business opportunities and delivering tailored, sustainable packaging solutions across a range of sectors. You’ll play a key part in driving business growth across the North West region, combining a strategic mindset with a practical, customer-first approach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop long term relationships with new and existing customers
  • Identify, pursue and win new business opportunities in line with company objectives
  • Understand customer requirements and deliver innovative, value adding packaging solutions
  • Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to ensure seamless project delivery
  • Track market trends, competitor activity and customer needs to inform strategy
  • Deliver accurate sales forecasts, budgets and performance reports
  • Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events

  • Proven track record in B2B sales — ideally within packaging, FMCG, agricultural or industrial sectors
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to identify and convert new opportunities
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Consultative and customer centric approach
  • Self-motivated, organised and able to work independently
  • Comfortable travelling regularly across the region
