Client Profile:

Our client is a multi-site distribution company [technical products] who are now expanding abroad. The product range is vast & supplied via multi-channel routes to both domestic & business2business sectors This rapid growth has led to a variety of new roles including the need for an energetic & proven Area Sales Manager.

Role Summary:

Our client are currently seeking an Area Sales Manager for the Southwest area, who will be responsible for selling the company’s product range into an established customer base of Based in the southwest region, covering the Bournemouth, Portsmouth, Chichester, Yeovil, Salisbury, Basingstoke and surrounding areas.

You will be required to work externally for 4 days and 1 day will be office based in Bristol.

Promoting and selling the Company’s product range to an established customer base of M&E Contractors, OEM’s, Distributors, and represent the company at trade exhibitions.

Identifying new business opportunities.

Working closely with an experienced Management team and Internal Sales team.

We continually strive to ensure existing service levels are maintained and new business opportunities are fully investigated.

Experience needed:

Ideally, applicants will have a proven track record of sales within Electrical Wholesaling, Manufacturing or Distribution industry.

Excellent communication skills, and have the drive and desire to convert new business opportunities and ability to build long term relationships.

You will have good time management and planning skills ensuring that your time is used to its maximum to generate sales,

Must be self motivated, professional and with an outgoing nature.
