Area Sales Engineer – Fluid Handling

Job Description: Field sales role for a global, premium fluid handling manufacturer. Uncapped earning potential, no bonus earning threshold + fantastic benefits. Long-term opportunities for progression. Stable, cash-rich company, opportunity to work autonomously.

Role Overview

As Area Sales Engineer, you will manage a well-established sales territory across East Anglia. You will sell a diverse range of premium fluid handling products such as connectors, fittings, hoses and valves, both off the shelf and bespoke systems. Your customer base will include food, beverage, pharmaceutical and petrochemical manufacturing end users, MoD, defence and process engineering contractors, designers and OEM process machine builders. The role is primarily account management.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow an established sales territory across East Anglia.
  • Sell connectors, fittings, hoses, valves, and bespoke fluid handling systems to a diverse customer base.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with food, beverage, pharmaceutical, petrochemical, MoD, defence and process engineering contractors.
  • Present complex solutions to customers and support technical needs.
  • Work independently, with a high degree of autonomy and trust.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Technical field sales experience selling mechanical engineering or automation products.
  • Ideal mechanical engineering qualification.
  • Ability to present complex solutions to customers.
  • Team player who enjoys a collaborative work environment.
  • Valid driving licence.
