Job Title

Area Coordinator

12 month fixed term, full‑time, 37 hours per week.

Package

Salary £24,753.08 per year, plus van and fuel card.

Role Overview

The Area Coordinator delivers a full milk recording service in a key area, making monthly visits to farms, collecting data and updating the NMR database. The role also involves milk sampling, robot shuttle support, holiday cover and box deliveries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Home based, covering a wide area of farms with extensive driving.
  • Responsible for data collection and entry into a custom‑built software package.
  • Coordinate the collection of milk samples from individual cows on farms.
  • Organise and train self‑employed samplers to take milk samples.
  • Transport sample boxes/shuttles.
  • Complete NMR robot shuttle recording if required.
  • Ensure an excellent standard of data quality.
About You
  • Time management skills.
  • Self‑motivated.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Great attention to detail ensuring accuracy in work produced.
  • Fully PC literate.
  • Milk recording and/or practical dairy farming experience desirable.
