Gonville & Caius College is seeking an Archive Project Officer who loves history, order, great customer service, telling stories and the problems of trying to fit a quart into a pint pot. You will be willing and able to rise to the challenge and see the tasks to their fruition, with the satisfaction of knowing that you are potentially making available a document to the world that has not been seen for hundreds of years. The role is physical as well as using computers, a need to be exact is imperative and conservation and preservation of our collections are paramount. Willingness to be flexible on working hours is very important.
This is a part-time, 1-year fixed term contract. The hours of work are 15 hours/3 days per week.
The annual full time equivalent salary for this role is £25,903 (pro-rated for part time, £10,361).
