Overview

Bennett and Game are representing a well-established multi-disciplinary Top 150 Consultancy based in Maidstone who are looking for an Architectural Technologist to join their growing team. The successful Architectural Technologist will get exposure to a variety of projects as our client has a diverse portfolio which includes High-rise Residential, Healthcare, Commercial, Leisure and Education projects. They are offering a competitive salary of up to £45,000 in addition to a range of benefits including hybrid working, bonus schemes, generous annual leave, private healthcare, paid training/ progression plans and sick pay insurance. Our client are receptive in their search and the job title could be changed dependant on a candidates level.

Responsibilities
  • Produce and coordinate detailed technical drawing packages
  • Support the technical delivery of a variety of projects
  • Produce and review technical packages of information
  • Coordinate technical information with consultants and contractors
  • Develop compliant, buildable and well-detailed technical solutions
  • Assist with managing drawing packages through planning, technical design and construction stages
  • Ensure projects comply with UK building regulations and industry best practice
  • Work on various Residential, Commercial, Leisure and Education projects (Typically between the values of £1m to £20m)
Qualifications
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Architectural Technology or a related discipline
  • Several years' experience working within the industry
  • Strong Technical ability and exposure from RIBA Stage 4 onwards
  • Strong working knowledge of Revit
  • Have an understanding of Planning process and Regulations
  • Ability to manage workload across multiple projects
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
  • Proactive, detail-oriented and technically confident
  • Live within a commutable distance of Maidstone
