A leading lifestyle brand in Moreton-in-Marsh is seeking an Architect to join their in-house design team at a beautiful organic farm. The role involves overseeing unique architectural projects from concept to completion with a salary between £38,000 and £40,000 per annum. Ideal candidates should have strong AutoCAD skills, excellent communication, and experience in the UK construction industry.

The Daylesford Farm was founded over 20 years ago and has since become renowned for its pioneering work in sustainable, organic farming and food retail.
Over the past 10 years the brand has expanded into the hospitality sector, operating a growing portfolio high-end holiday cottages, pubs, and wellness Spa and members club, now known as the Bamford Collection.
We are seeking an Architect to join its in-house architectural design team at our head-office in Gloucestershire, situated on the stunning Daylesford Organic Farm.
Our in-house design team, working in conjunction with the company’s various stakeholders, delivers work that embraces The Bamford Collection core values and responds to the architectural needs of the business.
Successful candidates will work on a wide range of unique and exciting projects from concept to completion.
Salary - £38,000 - £40,000 per annum.
Hours - 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday.
Applicants need to be local to the office, ideally within 20 miles, and have the use of a car.
Overseeing projects from concept through to completion
Refining designs based on client feedback
Preparing applications for planning permission and building control approval
Producing detailed architectural drawings and specifications using CAD
Ensuring all designs comply with current Building Regulations
Collaborating with engineers, contractors, surveyors, and other professionals
Conducting site visits to monitor progress and ensure design integrity
Excellent design skills together with a passion for architecture.
Strong AutoCAD experience and hand sketching abilities.
Excellent communication skills; writing, drawing and face-to-face.
Confident team leader with a willingness to mentor junior colleagues.
Strong experience of the UK construction industry, particularly high-end residential and commercial sectors.
Project management and solid site experience.
Consultant and contractor coordination.
Strong technical detailing experience.
Cotswolds vernacular architecture knowledge.
Broad knowledge of latest sustainable technologies and their application.
Excellent presentation skills and experience using Adobe InDesign.
Enthusiastic about working as part of a dynamic and energetic team, happy to assist wherever required.
