Are you the right fit for our small team of arboricultural consultants? Our practice serves a wide range of clients in the north-west and north midlands of England, providing a diverse range of ethical arboricultural and urban forestry services.

Position: Senior Arboricultural Consultant

The post holder will provide specialist tree advice on a wide range of issues including pre-planning tree surveys and reports, post-subsidence assessment, woodland management, tree risk assessment, and diagnosis of disease and ill-health in trees. Working with the developers of the Quantified Tree Risk Assessment method, you will be involved in promoting the company as a leader in the delivery of reasonable and proportionate tree safety management.

The skills and experience needed for the post are:

  • Qualification in arboriculture or forestry to a minimum of National Qualifications Framework Level 4
  • At least three years post qualification experience in arboricultural consultancy delivering a range of arboricultural and urban forestry services
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Ability to always approach challenges with a positive attitude and work both on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Ability to communicate and work closely with local authority tree officers, planners, architects, ecologists and other professionals
