A local governmental agency in West Midlands is seeking an Arboricultural Area Manager to lead tree inspections and manage public safety regarding tree stocks. You will develop policies, coordinate emergency responses, and build stakeholder relationships while managing budgets. Ideal candidates will have a degree in arboriculture and strong experience in large-scale tree management. This role includes travel across the county and offers extensive benefits including a generous pension scheme.
Make a visible difference to Warwickshire’s trees, places, and people. We’re looking for an Arboricultural Area Manager to help care for Warwickshire’s tree stock and keep our communities safe. You’ll lead inspections and plan works, guide colleagues and contractors, and be a trusted source of practical, legal and policy advice on all things trees.
You’ll join our Forestry service within County Highways—a supportive team of tree specialists who manage the county’s public realm trees and provide consultancy to partners. The role is countywide, with travel, and includes planning proactive programmes as well as coordinating our response to storms and urgent tree incidents.
