Job Description

Are you a registered Nurse, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapists or Paramedic and looking for a new challenge? You could use your skills differently as a Functional Assessor. Our offer: It's an exciting and challenging role that can be quite different from other healthcare professions, and that's why you'll begin with a 5 week training programme, with close mentorship to work on your ongoing development.

Basic salary of £39,500 upon successful completion of training stages. £1,000 one‑off payment after successful completion of competency. 10% Quality & Performance Bonus available after training and completion of competency. This means an OTE of £45,000.

Day to Day

You will work full time to manage caseloads, undertaking initial reviews, paper‑based, face‑to‑face, video or telephone assessments. You will assess the full range of health conditions and disabilities to find out how they impact the claimant's day‑to‑day life and create a comprehensive report.

Your Requirements
  • Registered adult Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or Paramedic.
  • 1+ years post‑registration experience.
  • Valid registration PIN with the NMC or HCPC without restrictions or conditions.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent IT skills with the ability to type a minimum of 32 words per minute.
  • Right to work in the UK without an employer's sponsorship visa.
