What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Support staff with queries about pay and benefits
  • Assist with payroll tasks and salary‑sacrifice calculations
  • Help administer employee benefit schemes
  • Create engaging communications to promote staff benefits
  • Provide admin support for payroll and benefit‑related projects
  • Manage and analyse data to support service improvements

You’ll be learning on the job, supported by experienced colleagues and your line manager, developing the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in HR and payroll.

Qualifications:
  • Confident communicator (written and verbal)
  • GCSEs (Grade 9‑4) or equivalent in English and Maths
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and email
  • Organised and able to meet deadlines
  • Eager to learn and grow
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Able to travel to work settings when required
Desirable:
  • Interest in HR, payroll, or public service careers
  • Experience in customer service or office environments
  • Involvement in extracurricular or voluntary activities
Additional Information:

The Fluency Duty is outlined in the Code of Practice on the English language requirements for public sector workers. The Fluency Duty for this role is required. You must be able to speak and provide advice in accurate spoken English to the public.
