What’s exciting about the role

In our Apprentice Sales Advisers, we look for a positive mindset, people who can support their team to get things done and enjoy getting involved. Your role will be focused on serving customers, mainly at the till, delivering excellent service and ensuring customers don’t miss out on any of our great Star Buys. You’ll help ensure the store is well stocked and presented, and you will be actively involved in achieving store targets. Your Assessor and store team will help you improve communication, teamwork and organisational skills and support you with employability skills including interview skills, CV preparation, managing money, health and wellbeing. Training takes place in store, so no college days. At the end of your training you will complete an end point assessment and, on successful completion, you will achieve a Retailer L2 Apprenticeship. During your Apprenticeship your Assessor and Store Manager will discuss progression opportunities, including becoming a sales adviser, team leader or other retail roles. This is a great experience that will prepare you for bigger challenges. Superdrug Apprenticeship advisers are important to us and we will actively develop your skills and offer real career progression supported by our in-house training and Apprenticeship qualifications.

• Willingness to carry out piercing services for our customers (training provided)
• Flexible in working hours and adaptable to change

Qualifications and eligibility

You qualify if…

• You have a grade 4 / C GCSE (or equivalent) in English and maths
• You are not currently in any form of education and you are available for full time shifts
• You HAVEN’T completed a Retail Apprenticeship before
• You are eligible to work in the UK
• You are brand new to retail

Hours: 39 hours a week
Salary: From £9.50 per hour
