Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent.

Salary: £15,704 per year (Year 1), rising to £20,800 in Year 2 subject to satisfactory progress and performance.

Location: Royston, SG8

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm

18-month apprenticeship with the opportunity for permanent employment - post-apprenticeship salary: £26,000 per year

About The Role:

The company is hiring a Customer Service Apprentice to join their friendly and fast-paced team within the construction industry. This role offers hands-on experience and structured training, leading to a Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner qualification.

You’ll support customers, suppliers, and internal teams by managing enquiries, coordinating processes, and delivering excellent service.

Responsibilities Include:

Handling customer and supplier enquiries (phone, email, and face-to-face) Updating records and maintaining internal systems Supporting admin for sales, estimating, and operations teams Coordinating orders and following up on delivery status Delivering professional, prompt customer service Contributing to service improvement processes

Training Details:

Study is delivered through a blended learning approach, combining online tutor-led sessions with face-to-face support at the employer’s premises Apprentices will be supported by a dedicated tutor and have access to structured training throughout the programme The apprenticeship concludes with an End-Point Assessment (EPA), during which the learner will demonstrate the required knowledge, skills, and behaviours to successfully complete the course
