• Prepare, cook and present food for patients and staff breakfast, lunch and dinner.
• Follow all company and legal food hygiene regulations.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and efficient kitchen environment.
• Provide helpful, friendly and welcoming service in the staff restaurant.
• Ensure all food is delivered to patients at the agreed times.
• Accurately record food waste and report to the manager.
• Accommodate requests for special dietary requirements.

Job Introduction: Bring your passion to the plate and make a difference every day as an Apprentice Commis Chef at Sodexo, working alongside the ward and kitchen to provide high‑quality, helpful and courteous service to patients and staff through the preparation, service and presentation of breakfast, lunch, dinner and hospitality.

What you’ll do

• Prepare, cook and present food for patients and staff breakfast, lunch and dinner in line with agreed recipes and standards set by Sodexo and the client.
• Follow all company and legal food hygiene regulations and comply with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and efficient kitchen environment, ensuring the restaurant is clean at all times.
• Provide helpful, friendly and welcoming service in the staff restaurant.
• Ensure all food is delivered to patients at the agreed times.
• Accurately record food waste and report to the manager.
• Accommodate requests for special dietary requirements from patients or staff.
