Job summary

Mitchells and Butlers is offering a full-time apprenticeship for a Chef, with on-the-job training to achieve a Production Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship over 15 months. You will work in a busy kitchen, learning to prepare and present high-quality food while supporting a team of passionate chefs.

No prior experience is required; we will teach you everything and support your development, with progression opportunities within the company after successful completion.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided on the job.
• You will undertake a Production Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship over 15 months.

Responsibilities

• Have open communication with the team to deliver outstanding food and service.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute insights.
• Prepare, cook and present food quickly, safely and to brand standard.
• Address guest queries and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and back-of-house areas.
• Set up and close down the department including stock rotation and prep.
• Keep up to date with promotions and new products.
• Complete all training modules as assigned.
• Adhere to brand standards, licensing laws and company policies.
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning tasks.
