Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers is offering a full-time kitchen apprenticeship for a Production Chef Level 2 over 15 months. You will be trained by passionate chefs while contributing to high-quality guest experiences in a fast-paced kitchen.

No prior experience is required; you will learn on the job and gain a nationally recognised qualification. The program includes mentoring and ongoing training to support your progression within the business.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Production Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship over 15 months.
• Full-time role under supervision with mentors.

Responsibilities

• Have open communication with team to deliver outstanding food and service.
• Participate in team meetings and share insights.
• Prepare, cook and present food quickly, safely and to brand standards.
• Handle guest queries and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and back-of-house areas.
• Set up and close down the department including stock rotation and prep.
• Keep up to date with business information, promotions and products.
• Participate in all in-house training and learning modules.
• Adhere to brand standards, licensing laws and company policies.
• Complete all documentation and daily/weekly cleaning tasks.
