Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers Leisure Retail Limited is offering a Production Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship over 15 months, with a full-time kitchen role under guidance from experienced chefs. You will earn while you learn and work towards a nationally recognised qualification.

The programme combines work-based training, mentoring, and formal learning modules to develop cooking skills and kitchen management responsibilities.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Willingness to learn and passion for cooking encouraged.
• Apprenticeship pathway leading to Production Chef Level 2.

Responsibilities

• Have open communication with the team to deliver outstanding food and service.
• Participate in team meetings and share insights.
• Prepare, cook and present food safely and efficiently to brand standard.
• Handle guest queries and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and back-of-house areas.
• Set up and close down the department including stock rotation and prep.
• Keep up to date with promotions and new products.
• Complete training modules and learning programmes.
• Adhere to brand standards, licensing laws and company policies.
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning tasks.
