Mitchells & Butlers PLC is offering a full-time Production Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship in the kitchen. You will work under experienced chefs, learn hands-on skills, and gain a nationally recognised qualification while contributing to daily service.

No prior experience is required; you will be trained on the job, develop cooking essentials, and progress toward Head Chef opportunities as you complete the apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Passion for cooking and willingness to learn.
• Enrolment in Production Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship over 15 months.

Responsibilities

• Have open communication with the team to ensure the delivery of outstanding food and service.
• Participate in team meetings and offer insights.
• Prepare, cook and present food quickly, safely and to brand standard.
• Handle guest queries and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Ensure cleanliness of kitchen and back-of-house areas with attention to detail.
• Set up and close down the department including stock rotation and prep and par process.
• Keep up to date with business information, promotions and new products.
• Participate in all in-house training and learning modules.
• Adhere to brand standards, licensing laws and all company policies and procedures.
• Complete all appropriate documentation, daily and weekly cleaning tasks.
