A healthcare provider in the UK is seeking an Appointment Clerk to join their Outpatient Departments. This full-time position requires excellent communication skills and experience in a busy office environment. The ideal candidate must possess strong IT knowledge and be capable of working both independently and as part of a team to meet strict deadlines. A commitment to patient care and adaptability in tasks is essential.
We are currently recruiting to our Outpatient Departments at ESHT, the post is for a Appointment Clerk for 37.5 hours per week. The successful applicant will be based at Bexhill Hospital/Eastbourne District General
The Outpatient Booking department is a fast responsive department, the successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, IT knowledge, an ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team working to strict deadlines.
The trust is committed to supporting and developing their staff through apprenticeship programmes. If you do not have an NVQ you will be required to undertake a qualification as part of the apprenticeship scheme. The apprenticeship linked to the role is diploma in Business Administration level 2/3.
Hours can be discussed at interview and will include some Saturday working days on a rota basis
