As the Investment IT Application Support Manager, your role will be to lead the support and stability of our core investment platforms and applications. This role plays a key part in ensuring our investment teams have reliable, high-performing systems that enable effective decision-making and operational efficiency. To supplement that the role will make sure investment data is reliable, timely and of good quality so the investment business teams can perform their roles to secure members futures. This position will serve as a critical link between the Investment Business and Technology, ensuring that all activities within Investment IT Operations are directed towards delivering value to our scheme members.
This role leads efforts to boost efficiency, solve problems, and suggest innovative solutions that improve user satisfaction and business outcomes. It also manages a team of six application support and data analysts.
We seek a candidate with substantial experience in leading front office investment application support and data management teams, possessing a proven track record in managing vendor relationships and supporting investment trading or data applications. The ideal individual will demonstrate a strong technical foundation, including expertise in Microsoft 365, Active Directory/Azure Active Directory, Windows Server/Windows OS, job scheduling, and application and server monitoring tools. Success in this role requires exemplary leadership by setting high standards, fostering an inclusive environment, and advancing the growth of team members through effective coaching, mentoring, and the promotion of best practices.
