A not for profit veterinary care provider in Bolton seeks an Animal Nursing Assistant. This role involves working 35 hours a week with a rota of 5 on, 5 off. Responsibilities include learning essential veterinary skills and supporting the team in delivering quality animal care. Candidates must have 5 GCSE-equivalent qualifications and a passion for working with animals. The position offers an apprenticeship route into a Registered Veterinary Nurse role.

Your journey will start as an Animal Nursing Assistant (ANA) working 35hrs a week Average on a 5 on 5 off rota. The shift times for this role would be between 08:30-19:00hrs. Here you will learn the important key skills required to be a Veterinary Nurse, whilst supporting the team to provide affordable veterinary care.
This role will lead to an Apprentice RVN role after a 12 month period. This means you should hold the required qualifications to enrol onto the nursing course.

At Animal Trust Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVNs) are a vital part of the veterinary team, and we are committed to supporting the new generation of Veterinary Nurses. You will see a variety of cases with Animal Trust being a vital member of the team you will work through a rotational rota pattern ensuring exposure to all aspects of the role.
As an apprentice, you will be paid to work 37.5 hour week, 1 day per week at college, during college summer holidays you will work your full week clinically.

As part of this apprenticeship you will receive a Level 3 Diploma in Veterinary Nursing and be eligible to apply for professional registration with the RCVS as a Registered Veterinary Nurse.
