Analytical Chemist

Are you an expert in analytical chemistry with a passion for precision and problem-solving? Join our R&D team as an Analytical Chemist , where you’ll play a key role in supporting and improving our packaging coatings portfolio through advanced testing, data analysis, and collaboration with commercial and technical teams.

About the role
  • Ensure Lab Safety : Maintain a safe and compliant laboratory environment, following all safety protocols.
  • Perform Advanced Testing : Conduct detailed chemical, physical, and performance analyses of packaging coatings using a range of analytical techniques (e.g., spectroscopy, chromatography, microscopy).
  • Support Product Stewardship : Investigate product performance issues, raw material changes, and customer complaints through analytical testing and root cause analysis.
  • Interpret & Report Data : Analyse complex datasets, generate clear reports, and provide actionable insights to internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate Across Functions : Work closely with R&D, Technical Service, Sales, and Marketing to support customer needs and ensure product quality and compliance.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement : Recommend improvements to testing protocols, lab practices, and product formulations based on analytical findings.
  • Applies relevant analytical approaches and techniques such as FTIR, GCMS, LCMS, GPC and optical microscopy
About you
  • A degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field, with specialization in analytical techniques.
  • 3+ years of experience in a laboratory setting , preferably in coatings or packaging.
  • Hands‑on experience with analytical instruments and methods (e.g., FTIR, GC‑MS, SEM, DSC).
  • Strong communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Ability to translate technical data into meaningful recommendations for non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Availability to travel internationally during the training period is required.
  • Personal vehicle to access the Site (in an industrial area)
