Job summary

A leading automotive recruitment agency is seeking an experienced HGV Technician for a permanent role in Bexleyheath. This position offers part-time hours with competitive earnings between £39,000 and £62,000 per annum, based on experience and shift options. Candidates must have at least 2 years in the industry and be Apprentice trained to Level 3 or equivalent. Qualifications

  • At least 2 years experience in the Industry.
  • Apprentice trained to Level 3 or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Electrical, mechanical and hydraulic fault diagnosis, repair and installation of parts.
  • Setting and operating of machine tools and equipment onsite.
  • Support workshops team members including Apprentice Technicians as required.
  • Accurately record time to complete job cards and associated details in accordance with DVSA.
  • Use of skills and performance of other work within normal grade / job skills as required by the Workshop Supervisor.

Skills

Level 3 Motor Vehicle Mechanics City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent
Previous experience as a qualified Fitter / Mechanic / Engineer
Possession of own tools
