A prominent facility service provider located at Manchester Airport is seeking a PRM Airside Driver. In this role, you will operate specialist vehicles to assist passengers with reduced mobility during airport transfers. The job involves ensuring vehicle safety, conducting daily checks, and maintaining a clean vehicle environment. Pay rate: £14.36 per hour

Working as a member of the PRM Airside Driver Team, you will drive the Company’s specialist vehicles on the airfield to transfer passengers with reduced mobility (PRM’s) from the aircraft to the terminal building or from the terminal building to the aircraft. The Vehicles range from Minibuses to Class 2 rigid heavy goods type vehicles, for which full training and instruction would be given. You will also be required to assist PRM’s onto the aircraft, to their seat or into the ABM vehicles or terminal buildings which involves passenger and manual handling techniques.

Please note that any applicant that has spent more than 6 months in any country other than the UK in the last 5 years; will need a police clearance from all countries that this would apply to. The police clearance will need to cover the full date range the applicant was in the specific country, furthermore, the police clearance needs to be obtained before the applicant attending any interview with ABM.
