Up to £54,314 depending on experience

This role offers an exciting opportunity to support BAE Systems' Instructional System Design and delivery of Mechanical (Airframe) courseware for the Hawk Platform, directly contributing to the Engineering Manager Ground Crew Training programme. The successful candidate will also play a key role in the development and sustainment of cross-platform training artefacts, supporting both current operational needs and future capability growth.
As a Courseware Developer and Deliverer, you will be instrumental in shaping high-quality training solutions that underpin Customer Training for Availability and New Business. You will contribute to the full lifecycle of training products, including the development of goods and services aligned to customer requirements, ensuring training outputs are effective, compliant, and operationally relevant.
The role involves the design, development, and support of Maintainer Courseware, drawing from the Instructional System Development Catalogue. Courseware will include a blend of self-paced digital learning and instructor-led training, developed using modern Learning Content Management Systems (LCMS) and Learning Management Systems (LMS). This provides an excellent opportunity to work at the forefront of technical training delivery within a complex engineering environment.
Beyond the core responsibilities, this role offers significant development and progression opportunities within FJS, including exposure to Training Technical Publications, grade progression for the successful candidate, and access to Further and Higher Education pathways.
