Job summary

A leading aviation maintenance provider is seeking a Sheet Metal Worker to support aircraft maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will have a recognised apprenticeship in the aircraft industry and proven experience in aviation maintenance. Key responsibilities include performing complex repairs, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. Competitive salary between £35,125 - £40,394, plus additional shift pay.

Qualifications

• Proven work history in an aviation maintenance environment.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements in relation to Part 145.
• Demonstrate technical experience and leadership behaviours.

Responsibilities

• Perform sheet metal work activities on fabricated parts.
• Manufacture and fabricate aircraft SMW parts from various service aircraft.
• Ensure paperwork is completed to the required standards.

Excellent SMW hand skills

Understanding of Health & Safety

Ability to interpret technical publications

Education

Recognised apprenticeship within the aircraft industry or similar
