Job description

CJS Recruitment are looking for a qualified and experienced Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer to join a large and growing construction company on a Permanent basis located in Heathrow.

Work duties will be based in commercial Fit-outs and related works, performing AC/ Refrigeration engineering duties.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Install, service and repair refrigeration systems, including cold rooms, display cabinets, chiller, freezers and air conditioning units
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and control faults in refrigeration equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance to reduce breakdowns and ensure system reliability
  • Handle refrigerant gases responsibly, including charging, recovery and leak detection (F-Gas compliant)
  • Read and interpret technical diagrams, wiring schematics and service manuals
  • Maintain detailed service records, jobs sheets and parts used
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, especially those related to pressurized systems and refrigerants
  • Liaise with clients or facility managers to provide professional service and system advice
REQUIREMENTS
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration & Air conditioning ( or equivalent )
  • First Aid ( preferred )
  • CSCS Card
  • City & Guides 2079 or equivalent in F-Gas
  • Gas Safe
