A leading global real estate firm is seeking an Air Conditioning Engineer to provide service maintenance on commercial sites in Derby. Responsibilities include installing, maintaining air conditioning systems, and working on reactive and planned maintenance tasks. • Produce quotations for works/remedials following service visits.
• Work on Splits, VRFS, AHUs and DX systems and some Central Plant.

Air Conditioning Engineer

Based: On site via JLL at Rolls‑Royce, Derby

Hours: 40hrs Monday to Friday (day shift)

Role Summary

We are looking for a qualified and reliable Air Conditioning Engineer to carry out service maintenance works on Rolls‑Royce commercial sites in Derby. The successful candidate will provide a professional service to our client working on a varied selection of Air Conditioning systems.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Attend and complete PPMs & Reactive works as scheduled including breakdowns.
• Have install experience (retrofit/system replacements).
• Troubleshooting/ Fault finding on all A/C systems.
• To produce quotations for works /remedials following service visits.
• To work on Splits, VRFS, AHUs and DX systems and some Central Plant.
• To be able to work alone and with other team members when necessary.
• Complete all FGAS paperwork on sites and update logbooks in client premises.
• To be part of the Out of Hours Call Out Rota.

Qualifications and Experience

• C&G 2079 Cat1
• NVQ Level 3 or similar is essential
• F-Gas
• Good Mechanical & Electrical Background
• Knowledge of building fabric and experience in carrying out basic fabric reactive repairs
• Sound understanding of Health & Safety obligations with regards to maintenance activities

• Must be prepared to work out of hours when required and on a scheduled callout rota
• Have good communication and organisation skills
• UK Driving License
• Good understanding of IT packages including Outlook, Word etc
