Job summary

Just Eat Takeaway.com is seeking a Technology Manager to lead and grow the Partner Assistance team within Acquisition, Onboarding and Service. You will drive end-to-end delivery of Partner AI Voice Agent and Partner Assistant, coordinating complex integrations and mentoring engineers in a fast-paced, global environment.

The role focuses on building AI-driven platforms to automate high-volume contacts, improve self-service, and reduce manual work.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and developing a team of engineers using AI/Chatbot platforms and Event Driven Architecture as its core technology.
• Proven track record in managing API integrations (Zendesk, CRM systems).
• Familiarity with AWS or similar cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud).

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end delivery of Partner AI Voice Agent and Partner Assistant (Chatbot).
• Manage the strategic migration of the Chatbot from Ultimate to an internal solution across key global markets.
• Coordinate complex integrations across various internal and external systems.
• Act as the primary technical liaison between stakeholder teams and the engineering/QA squads.
• Contribute to the definition of significant product features and workshops with engineering teams and Product Managers.
• Collaborate with Senior Technology Manager to define and communicate a technical roadmap for the domain.
• Help define goals and objectives for engineers in the team and guide their careers.
• Work with stakeholders to set priorities in line with commercial needs and the Engineering Strategy.
• Own streams of work from requirements gathering to production support.
• Propose and implement new processes, designs, and engineering practices to improve domain effectiveness.
• Track progress and transparently communicate this with teams and the Senior Engineering Manager.
• Take responsibility for deploying and supporting changes in production.
• Communicate progress and ideas with teams, other senior ICs, and the Senior Engineering Manager.
