Job summary

Actian is seeking an AI Enablement Lead to architect and own our AI enablement strategy end-to-end. You will build foundational AI platforms, tooling, and governance to empower product and engineering teams to deploy AI safely, rapidly, and at scale.

You will democratize AI across the organization, establish LLMOps practices, and drive data-driven improvements across the Actian Data Intelligence Platform. This is a leadership, hands-on role with a strong emphasis on practical execution.

Qualifications

• Strong background as Senior AI/ML Engineer or Software Architect with enterprise SaaS experience.
• Deep technical expertise in Python or Go, LLMs, and vector databases.
• Proven ability to build scalable AI platforms and drive adoption.
• Excellent English communication and leadership without direct reporting lines.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain AI orchestration layers, API gateways, and reusable frameworks for company-wide use.
• Embed production-ready AI/ML features into Actian Data Intelligence Platform.
• Establish guardrails, evaluation frameworks, and monitoring for model performance, privacy, and security.
• Monitor and optimize cloud and API compute spend and latency for production AI features.
• Lead workshops and create documentation to empower non-AI teams to build AI-driven features.
• Drive PoCs to production with production-grade code that scales.
• Define and enforce the official AI stack, including vector databases and embeddings strategies.
• Evaluate partnerships with AI model providers and open-source models for innovation.
• Define metrics to track adoption, time-to-market, and ROI of AI tools.
