Job summary

Actian is seeking an AI Enablement Lead in Slough to architect, scale, and own our AI enablement strategy end-to-end. You will build core platforms and frameworks that enable product and engineering teams to deploy AI safely, rapidly, and at scale within the Actian Data Intelligence Platform.

You will lead LLMOps, governance, and tooling initiatives, driving vendor relationships and open-source strategy while upskilling teams and delivering PoCs to production with production-grade code.

Qualifications

• Senior AI/ML experience in enterprise SaaS or data platforms.
• Strong Python/Go background and production-grade AI systems experience.
• Experience building and scaling AI-powered features with LLMs.
• Hands-on with AI governance, security, and privacy considerations.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive architecture decisions.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain core AI orchestration layers and reusable frameworks.
• Embed AI features into the Actian Data Intelligence Platform with core eng teams.
• Establish LLMOps governance, monitoring, and bias evaluation tooling.
• Monitor cloud and API spend and optimize latency for production AI features.
• Lead upskilling workshops and create docs to empower engineering teams.
• Drive PoCs to production ensuring scalable, production-grade code.
• Define and enforce the official AI stack and tooling standards.
