Job summary

GlobalData seeks a Commercial Enablement Specialist to design and deliver onboarding and ongoing development for its sales reps and managers, driving ramp speed and hitting targets.

The role focuses on translating sales methodologies, product knowledge and onboarding curriculum into engaging experiences, with AI-enabled enablement and close collaboration with HR, product and sales leadership.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales enablement and hands-on sales coaching (1:1 and group).
• Experience ramping and coaching new hires through onboarding programmes at volume.
• Ability to train and coach to Value Selling, MEDDPICC and BANT/SPIN frameworks.
• Experience coaching discrete sales skills (cold calling, discovery, objections, demos).
• Comfort weaving product knowledge into value-based training with product SMEs.
• Experience defining practical capability standards and assessment approaches.
• Comfort using generative AI tools to build training content and coach sellers.
• Strong facilitation, in-person and virtual, with structured feedback.
• Strong stakeholder management across sales leadership, HR, Product, Sales Ops.
• Creative problem-solver in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Responsibilities

• Refine and deliver the Kickstart onboarding programme for Week 1 through role-based tracks.
• Deliver and coach core sales methodologies: Value Selling, MEDDPICC, BANT SPIN with drills.
• Partner with Product Enablement to ground training in product context.
• Coach reps on core sales skills: cold calls, discovery, objections, demos.
• Provide 1:1 and group coaching during four-month probation including roleplay and deal coaching.
• Upskill line managers to coach and reinforce commercial skills.
• Drive adoption of AI-augmented selling and enablement tooling.
• Define and improve capability standards across onboarding and probation.
• Support scaling across cohorts within facilitator/SME capacity.
• Use data to drive engagement and report on enablement efficacy.
• Stay current on enablement, coaching, and AI trends and bring new practices.
